      <image:caption>JOSHUA RUTSTEIN Josh supports secured lenders, specialty finance clients, and entrepreneurs with business-minded legal counsel at the intersection of credit strategy and corporate execution. Josh’s work spans secured loan origination and documentation, lien priority and collateral protection, loan modifications and forbearance agreements, and enforcement planning; helping lenders preserve leverage and improve recoveries, especially in receivables-based financing and contract-rights collateral matters. Josh gained experience at a major law firm representing financial institutions, alternative capital providers, and business development companies in private credit and commercial finance transactions, including mezzanine, unitranche, first lien/second lien, debtor-in-possession, and other secured and unsecured lending arrangements, along with various alternative financings. Josh also serves as outside general counsel to SMB and emerging companies, guiding clients through corporate formation, governance, commercial contracting, capital raising, and acquisitions/dispositions—providing the responsive “outside GC” support that founders and operators need as they grow.
